In March 2017, I took the position of Social Media Manager at La Tourangelle Artisan Oils in Berkeley, CA. La Tourangelle is a California-local artisan cooking oil producer with distribution throughout 15,000 stores nationwide. With a robust portfolio of high quality oils and inspirational packaging, La Tourangelle is looking to develop their social media presence to inspire brand loyalty to their premium yet affordable line of consumer packaged goods.
A new position to the company, I pioneered the growth of La Tourangelle's social community as well as the responsibilities of this role. With the goal of building a social following of food enthusiasts that are health-conscious, passionate in the kitchen, and creative in their homes, I produced engaging content to attract potential customers and to celebrate current loyal followers that increased core business and solidified our brand identity. I oversaw all content development and implementation across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, as well as managed a monthly budget for influencer activations and paid platform advertisements. I attained positive growth in social communities and in social referrals to our native website month over month, and helped position La Tourangelle as an everyday product for kitchen creatives.
